Rewildling the Northeast
Less than 3% of land in the Northeast is protected as wilderness. The Northeast Wilderness Trust, a non-profit organization based in Vermont, is the only regional land trust entirely dedicated to preserving wilderness areas. Rewilding the Northeast showcases the progress NWT has achieved in conserving wilderness in the Northeastern United States, and explores both the scientific and intrinsic motivations for protecting wild places.
